This was during a Central Committee (CC) meeting held on the 30 May, 2010 at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) as a last but one CC meetings to the National congress in August.
Wonder Madilo the Unions President interjected Mr. Bonaventure’s revelation “preventing him from telling his story” till CC members protested against his act.

Ivy on her part denied knowledge of such an act and called for a “total auditing and investigation and subsequent arrest” if she was found culpable.

A delegate from the University of Ghana, Legon Mr. Jacob Shamatey (a student leader) expressed his disappointment at the “immaturity exhibited by the Treasurer and President” and called for “a clear vigilant eye from all member institutions to be focused on the union”.

The issue has since been forwarded to the NEC members to conduct thorough probe and present its report at the next CC meeting to be communicated later.
