‘I CARE FOR YOU’ MY FOOT

Fellow Ghanaians,

It is surprising we find ourselves in a country and in the hands of a government that has a record of selling state property at wholesale as if they were gathered rubbish ready for disposal. The NDC 1 of the Rawlings-led -administration sold lots and lots of our state corporations like the Fishing Corporation, and the shipping docks you name them.

I have been of the firmest opinion that, there is no difference between the Mills-led-NDC-administration and the erstwhile Kuffour-led-NPP-administration. The latter too in the closing part of 2008 was reported of disposing off state land not to foreigners as our politicians are known to be doing but this time to their party functionaries like Jake Obetsebi Lamptey among others.
Of what fiber are our politicians made of?

When I was growing up I envisage a country with leaders full of strength of courage, confidence of purpose and ingeniously interested in the welfare of the poor masses.

I have seen people suffering to the extent that, people have to walk miles and miles away before they find some low paying job to satisfy their hunger. After all this hassle and misery Mills will caution us of complaining about ineffectiveness.

Hey lest I forget, Kuffour called Ghanaians lazy people.

It was premised on the mediocre thoughts of our politicians that I cannot fault Mills for awarding himself 80% when he met the press recently because in the midst of huge and turbulent suffering he still sits in his air-condition office and sips coffee with doughnut whiles the mass of the people especially our vulnerable women walk with their baby strap at their back hopelessly looking for work.

I care for you my foot.

Ministers’ drive their nice cars, turn our beautiful women into prostitutes, people like Muntaka use our money on pampers, and girl lovers and Mills sits unconcern and shout endlessly, ‘my brothers and sisters I care for you’.
Can you see any difference?

So soon, the building opposite to the hotel d’kuffour; thus the Aviation House is now Christman House.
